Once we arrived, it didn't take long for the ladies to find some children to entertain and thus another VBS was soon to be born.

Soon we were back to work and the team worked together well once again. With the heat index hovering in the hundreds we were careful to keep our bodies hydrated.

Some of us loaded the concrete mixer while others drove the trucks, aka wheelbarrows, but hey....it sure beats buckets!

How do these ladies do it? I looked like I had crawled out from underneath a truck and they.....like they stepped out of a magazine.

After an hour or so we caught a break. Shade was limited and welcomed. Pete, as well as the others, had given their all and earned a well deserved break.

Shelly McNatt breaks out some gifts for the children and invites them to come to Vacation Bible School tomorrow at the church.

It had been a good day but this ole cowboy needed some rest. "Father, thank you for the opportunity to serve and the strength to endure. May we rest in You and find refuge under the shadow of Your wings."
Thanks for your prayers. May our Lord be glorified......Lewis
