We headed south Friday night so we could catch an early flight out of Atlanta Saturday morning.
John Howard, long time friend and WWWC board member, graciously drove us down. This was a joint trip with The Bridge Church in Spring Hill, TN and Mars Hill Baptist.
Saturday AM
A computer glitch in seating assignments caused an hour and a half delay. While frantic Delta employees scrambled and scratched, we sat patiently, plotting our price if there was a need to give up our seats.
A strong tail wind shortened our flight helping our arrival time in GUA. Soon we were at Ely and Rosa's enjoying a bowl of black beans and rice.
I needed to go to a store and buy a walker for the young mother's baby, at the coast, that we are helping. A simple task it would seem. Four stores and three hours later we headed back to the house with our find. This kind of mission work just wears me out.
Sunday AM
Waking, Jim Brewer commented on the powerful storm that came during the night. Storm? I asked. I never heard a thing.
As always the church service was wonderful even if only a small portion was comprehended.
At noon we are off to the coast. I pray that somewhere along the way my phone will find service and this message will be sent out to you.
Thanks so much for your prayers and support.
At 4PM today my church family, Mars Hill, will embark on a city wide, door to door, blitz. Please lift them up as they go sharing the gospel in Lawrenceburg.
To God be all glory!
Go God!
Lewis
