I love Christmas! I love the lights, the sounds, the gifts and the joy of giving, not to mention all of the food! I love everything about Christmas!
When I think of Jesus and what He's done for me.......I can hardly bear it. The Son of God became a son of man so that son's of men might become son's of God. WOW! Did you get that? Did you really? Lord, may we be and become stunned, shatter and shaken by understanding just how much you love us! Worship Him! For He is worthy.....Emmanuel! God with us! Halleluiah! GIVE HIM PRAISE!!
If I can calm down a bit I'll give you a missions update. Well glory! I almost had a spell. I spoke with Ely a few times this week and he always sends his love. Rosa still suffers form some health issues so continue to pray for her.
In the village of Choanla, some 12,000 feet high in the mountains of San Marcos, church members are excited about the new construction project that has begun. There old, damp mud brick church building is being replaced by a new concrete one.

This is the pastor and his family at Choanla. Please pray that we can finish the construction before the rain begins in May. Work is hard because of the terrain and the altitude.
We continue the construction on the church at Catarina and all is going well. David West, was with us a few weeks ago there with Wynne Baptist Church. David's wife, Lisa, had breast cancer 6 months ago and now it has returned. Please pray for David and Lisa as they walk through this valley.
We praise God for each and everyone of you, and the opportunity He has given us to serve together in His Kingdom. May He bless you and keep you and may He bring healing to those who suffer for His sake.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
Lewis and Donna
