Home on the range ......Part 2

The guys at Home Depot told me this was a two person job but my help, Donna, wouldn't be off until 5pm. I decided to proceed on my own. The 100 foot 3 " hose wound it's way through the house and into the bed room. As I turned the blowing machine on I was pleasantly surprised that the hose stayed in the first hole without my assistance. Next came feeding the insulation into the machine.
All was going well until the first cavity started filling up. Running up the ladder, just in the nick of time as the hose was backing up with this gray fluffy matter. I thought perhaps I could slide the hose to the next hole with the machine still running. Big mistake!
This insulation is not dusty at all going into the machine, but a transformation takes place during the process and now a gray snowy substance covered me and everything else in the entire room. It was time to re-think this two man job and of course clean up before Donna got home.
Like a well oiled engine we worked as Donna ran the machine and I manned the hose. Though this job started a little bumpy all ended well. We also replaced ten of our old windows that had weights in the walls with new insulated ones, caulked the cracks and the rest is history.
There are a few more projects that I need to complete before Christmas. In January I be traveling to Mexico and Guatemala. On one of the trips we will be driving down hauling some supplies we can't get there in our suit cases. I will let you know more about that trip in a day or two.
God bless you all and have a very Merry Christmas!

Always in His grip,

Lewis and Donna
