WELCOME TO GUASAVE, MEXICO

Well, we finally made it to Guasave, Mexico! The 12 hour bus ride turned out to be 14 hours but it was tolerable, and the hospitality has been wonderful.
We left Lawrenceburg at 3:30AM Monday and arrived here at 5AM, today, Tuesday. We stayed busy today getting to know all about the new work that has been started here.
The photo was taken across the street from the recreation area at University Village. This is the target area for the new church plant. From left to right is Carlos, a ministry student and web technitian, Steve Seaton, Campus Minister at Mars Hill Baptist, Pastor David, who will pastor the church, Amy (Ah-may), the community leader and myself.
Pastor David and Pastor Marco are working hard to build relationships in the area as they share the gospel of our Lord. There is much excitement of all our Lord is doing there.

Pastor David, Bro. Steve, Pastor Marco and Carlos are standing in front of the recreation area where Mars Hill Baptist Church will help with a Crusade in March and also a sports clinic in June this year.

Lourdes (Lulu) pictured here with Pastor David is a new Christian and soon to be a charter member of the new church plant.

Well, tomorrow Bro. Steve and I will board the bus around 2:30PM hoping to make it back to Tucson for our 8AM flight on Thursday.

Please remember this new work in Guasave along with Pastor's Marco and David and their families.

To God be the glory! We love you and bless you in Jesus name.

Lewis
