Obed is the teenage nephew of Pastor Epifanio in La Mountanita. When the medical team was here in April one of the doctors, Dr. Conners I believe, discovered he had a large tumor in his hip area. Ely has been taking him back and forth to the hospital for test. He is supposed to have surgery tomorrow. His blood count is low so he needs a transfusion today. Pray for Obed. Some have asked me about the cost, Ely told me it will be around $800.
**Blessing Pastors!
With money given from The Bridge and Mars Hill Churches we were able to bless 12 pastors today with food and supplies we purchased. Afterwards we prayed together and God's glory fell. This experience touched the hearts of all of us deeply.
**VBS
Around 125 showed up at the Bible School today. They listened intently to the Bible story of Christ, His life, death and resurrection. Ten children prayed to receive Christ. We praise God for the opportunity.
**Weather!
It's at least 100 with high humidity. Maybe the ran will come soon and cool things off a bit.
**Mexican Taco Night!
When we finish today we need to pick up supplies in Malacatan so I suggested Mx tacos. : ) I'm so ready, let's hope my stomach is too. You better pray for the gringos though, this is defiantly a new experience.
**Tomorrow
We'll head to the mountains to bless more pastors there.
