Day 1 at El Tecamante, San Marcos, Guatemala

Ok....here's the facts. On the plane we ran into Clear Air Turbulence. No storm and no warning, just sudden unstable air. Guess this explains the clear skies as we bounced and shook on our flight down.

Earth quake hit Guatemala!!

It was only a 6.0 causing no problem for us. The only rumble here is a stomach or two. Thanks though for concern and prayers.

New Beds for Dorms:

Wonderful comfortable beds! Thank you Ely and family for this wonderful blessing!

Day 1- Construction Project:

Typical construction day-wake at 5a - get to the job site by 7 and work till dark- around 6p. No one badly injured, just a scrape or two, no one suffered heat exhaustion - perhaps a little dehydration but all in all it was a really great first day......,Now if I can only get out of bed tomorrow. : )
The team accomplished much and we praise God for the strength to work.

Supper:

Black beans and rice with a side of hot peppers. It just doesn't get any better than this.
Triple digit temps, long hard days and refreshing showers - this is life!
Lord bless you!
