Wednesday, February 17,2010-Day three-San Antonio,San Marcos,Guatemala

Guatemalan Toilet Seats:
First of all let me say how much I enjoy having one, but they're just not made for our super sized bodies.
Often one may become cracked or broken and the next in line becomes the victim of a vicious pinch on the leg, and at 5AM, in the dark, that pinch can cause one to think a large Iguana slipped in during the night.
The Heat:
Between 11a and 2p the sun is intense. The heat took much of our energy and production in the morning but by 3p there were clouds and a breeze. This rejuvenated body and soul.
We found our second, third and fourth wind and ended the day with much progress and limited collateral damage.
The women are now feeling sorry for the guys and have volunteered to help us tomorrow. They will be a huge help shoveling rock and sand, carrying blocks and such. In their honor we will start our day one hour early.

Bible School:

200 kids came to Bible School and the ladies did an outstanding job.

I had the opportunity to share the gospel and 31 children came forward to receive Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. We praise God for all!

Well, I'm nodding off writing and you're probably tired of listening. These new beds are really spoiling me.
Thanks for your prayers--another day in Paradise is in the books. God bless you and keep you.
